Overview

Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the popular trails in Nepal. It is located in western development region of Nepal. There are two high mountains above 8000m Mt. Dhaulagiri & Mt. Annapurna including several other mountains & peaks. The trek begins from Nayapul & cross the beautiful villages like Ghorepani, Poonhill,Tadapani , Chhomrong etc  You will experiment beautiful mountains like Machhapuchre, Annapurna south, Himchuli, Gandarvachuli, Singachuli, Annapurna I etc.from closer.The trek offers a mix of cultural experience & natural beauty.

Arrival in Kathmandu

A private cab/jeep will pick up you from airport & transfer to the hotel.

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

The distance from Kathmandu to Pokhara is 200Km which takes around 7-8 hours .Following a major rives like Trishuli & Marshyangdhi we see the scenic view of the villages & small towns.

Drive/Trek from Pokhara to Tikhedhunga Via Nayapul

We will drive toward Nayapul from Pokhara after breakfast & continue trek to Tikhedhunga (1570m). As we walk slow & steady for like 4-5 hours crossing some beautiful villages like Birethanti, Hile etc. This is our first day so we don't push too far too hard & stay overnight at Tikhedhunga relaxing on waterfalls.

Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani

It takes 6-7 hours to reach Ghorepani (2860m) from Tikhedhunga including rests & lunch. The distance is approx. 12 Km from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani. The trail is steep ascent until Ulleri apart from Ulleri there’s a gradual ascent. Overall, the trail is full of glory as you will witness dense rhododendron & oak forests with some beautiful teahouses.

Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani Via Poonhill

After we wake up early in the morning, then we hike toward Poonhill (3210m), carriying head torch/lamp to enjoy the sunrise view from snow top. It takes 1 hour to reach there & 45 minnutes to come back. We continue trek toward Tadapani after having breakfast at Ghorepani. We cross the beautiful villages like Deurali, Banthanti etc watching species of birds flying including golden eagle near Deurali. The total walk hour for the day will be 6-7 hours.

Trek form Tadapani to Lower Sinuwa

It takes 6-7 hours to reach Lower Sinuwa (2340m) from Tadapani. The trail is mix with the ascents & descents, a beautiful dense oak & rhododendron forest until Chuile. You will see some vegetation /cultivation at Gurjung village & an astonishing settlement of Chhomrong village. In your front, there will be stunning view of Mt.Machhapuchre, Mt. Annapurna south & Mt. Himchuli .

Trek from Lower Sinuwa to Himalaya

This day is mostly a forest trail with continues ups & downs. You'll witness a bamboo forest, Hinku cave, long waterfalls etc The trail carries 6-7 hours Sunset on Machhapuchre makes you feel like you are somewhere in heaven.

Trek from Himalaya to ABC

We are going to arrive the place which we dreamed of since long. Yes, today we cross the Machhapuchre base camp which is overwhelming & stay overnight at ABC (4130m). We will see Machhapuchre from back, the different angle of Mt.Machhapuchre, Mt.Singachuli, Mt.Gandharvachuli, Mt. Annapurna III, etc. This will definitely makes you a happy cry.

Trek from ABC to Bamboo

Day 9th is the most important day for every trekker. We will observe the 360/panaromic view of the mountains like Mt. Annapurna I, Mt. Annapurna South, Mt.Machhapuchre, Mt.Singachuli, Mt.Gandharvachuli, Mt. Annapurna III, etc. The sunrise view from ABC is mesmerizing, We call it "Heaven on Earth". After breakfast we continue trek toward Bamboo & it takes about 6 hours to reach Bamboo (2310m).

Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu

This is the final trek day & we will be relaxing in natural hot spring at Jhinu. The spot is fabulous to leave all the tiredness you had during the trek & refill the energy further. As we're going to arrive Jhinu sooner this day.

Drive from Jhinu to Pokhara

We will drive toward Pokhara from Jhinu after breakfast. It will take around 5-6 hours including lunch at Birethanti. Although you don't have to trek/walk this day, you'll definitely gonna enjoy the rural trip with gravel & paved road surpassing some wonder settlements & cultivations.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Drive to Kathmandu.
